my health journey

A little about my health journey:

I’ve always struggled with eczema and random health problems my whole life, but 6 months post-partum with my first born (July 2020) my health all of a sudden took a steep decline.
Not only did my eczema flare up big time, but I lost a giant chunk of my hair (👌🏽), was experiencing mild to severe joint pain especially in my hands and feet, couldn’t go a day without intense brain fog and fatigue (even if I slept 10+ hours consistently). I gave up dairy hoping it would help.

Later I would have 5 UTI’s back to back until I finally decided to ditch gluten for good.

I started realizing I needed some serious help. I saw doctors and got labs done, everything came back “normal”.
I felt discouraged. Especially spending so much $$$ and not getting closer to any answers.

I started self-doctoring + researching + following others on similar health journeys and implemented drastic changes in my life.

Nontoxic cleaners, shampoo, detergents
Organic food (almost always)
Anti-inflammatory supplements
Grounding outside with my barefeet
Nervous system based chiropractor every week, etc

All of these helped to heal my body slowly over time, and I could tell it was making a difference, but I was still on the struggle bus + unsure when the next autoimmune flare up could occur.

Then I did the Dr. Cabral 21 Day Detox which literally transformed my life. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I realized a key factor I was missing in my health wasn’t just NOT putting toxic stuff in my body, but also DETOXING years of buildup that had already accumulated in my body.

Here’s a disgusting analogy:
It’s like if your toilet is clogged 💩
And you say “ok I will stop pooping in this toilet”
But you don’t unclog it
It just sits there
And, well, you can imagine the rest.

We gotta unclog those toilets, y’all.

If you made it this far, you must really love me 🥲

I’ll be sharing the most effective health tips I’ve discovered on my journey
As well as ways I’ve fought to achieve inner peace and restore the sacred in my home in the midst of the hardest season of my life 🫶🏽

Pax,
Augusta
